Star Magnolia - Magnolia stellata "Our higher calling"
The Star Magnolia Tree is a bright beacon in the spring, bringing light to our once dark season. Just as it lights up the earth, it also lights up our souls and is a bridge to a finer attunement to our higher calling. Allowing us the compassion on ourselves to learn from past experiences and live in the bright illuminated present moment. Star Magnolia also fosters a more holistic thinking process for setting healthy boundaries and solving problems.

A Story: It had been a while since rabbit saw her bunny friends. She was so excited. She cleaned her house. She made muffins. She took a bath. She was ready. As she waited, she thought of what it would be like to see them. She started to feel a funny little wiggle of electricity in her tummy. Sometimes when rabbit was around them, she felt nervous. She felt like a lot of their problems became her problems. Rabbit decided to go for a run because she didn’t want to listen to the story in her head. When she got back from her happy hop, her bunny friends were just arriving. She hopped up to welcome them. Then she invited them to play in her backyard under the Star Magnolia Tree. (Rabbit always felt more grounded and happy under that tree.) Rabbit and her friends played all afternoon and had such a wonderful time together. That night, Rabbit reminisced about her day. She realized that she had found it easier to set boundaries. She felt more compassion for herself and her friends that day, and more grounded. She took a deep breath and fell fast asleep.
