Japanese Anemone - Eriocapitella hupehensis "Joy and Balance in relationships"
Japanese Anemone The Japanese Anemone flowers emanate a joyful and lighthearted aura. The flower essence has a similar effect on our aura. It assists us in being able to stay positive in our thoughts regardless of what is happening around us. The Japanese Anemone flower essence connects with our Heart and Crown Chakras, helping us to line up with our divine God/Goddess. From this place, we show our lighthearted side to the world around us. Rose Quartz, Selenite, Lapis and Malachite stones were included in making this essence.
A story: Two Spotted Towhees singing in the Apple Tree outside my window caught my attention. I walked over to the window and looked out at the tree. They were flitting about in the tree communicating with each other. In many cultures, Towhee birds are considered special birds. Often, they are seen as messengers from the spirit world, and depending on what is believed, a symbol of happiness, prosperity, spiritual growth and uplifting joy. This is what felt prevalent to me on this particular day that I observed them. I heard an Eagle - symbolizing spirit, self-expression and freedom - calling in the distance. I enjoyed the show of the Towhees for a few minutes before my eyes caught the flittering movement of the Japanese Anemone growing at the base of the Apple Tree. The Sun was illuminating it, and its soft pink petals were moving gracefully in the breeze. It felt like it was calling to be made into an essence. This essence was prepared during the Full Harvest Moon in Aries, which rises in us all differently, but encourages us to put ourselves first while at the same time maintaining balance in our relationships. It also felt as if a warrior like quality was existent here, potentially the guidance of Lugh, a strong Celtic warrior who is celebrated this time of year. Putting all of this together, the essence will help us to advocate for gratitude, joy and lightheartedness for ourselves as we go forth in our relationships.
Lugh: The Celtic God of light, sun and harvest. Similar to the Towhee, he is associated with healing and wisdom. (In Celtic mythology, the Towhee bird is seen as a messenger from another world.) Lugh is also portrayed as a warrior and master craftsman. This essence was prepared during Lughnasa marking the beginning of fall. Lugh would be a wonderful warrior to have on our side to help us in advocating for ourselves and our happiness while maintaining balance in our relationships during this Full Moon and in the future.
